Why one to six months is such an awkward length
Both standard options are built for a different problem.
Hotels price by the night and are designed around short stays. Nothing about the room assumes you'll be there in March. There's no kitchen, no laundry, and no living space, and the cost accumulates one night at a time.
Traditional apartments assume permanence. Twelve-month lease, security deposit, utilities in your name, and an empty unit you have to furnish — then unfurnish and dispose of when you leave. For a four-month stay, the setup and teardown costs more than the rent.
A mid-term furnished rental removes both problems: everything's already here, and the term matches the actual stay.

Pricing for mid-term stays
Mid-term stays are priced monthly rather than nightly, and the monthly rate is meaningfully lower than an equivalent number of nights would be.
We don't publish rates because they move with unit type, season, and length. Tell us the dates and we'll give you a number you can actually plan around, rather than a starting-from figure that turns out not to apply.

Extending or shortening a stay
Mid-term plans change. Contracts extend, projects finish early, closings get delayed.
If you need more time, tell us as soon as you know and we'll try to keep you in the same unit. If you need to leave early, talk to us — we'd rather find a workable arrangement than hold you to dates you aren't using.
